North Ogden Hires
Rob Scott as New
City Planner

Rob Scott has been involved in city and county planning over a forty year career. He began his career after completing course work at BYU as an undergraduate in Geography and the University of Utah graduate school in public administration. He is a charter member of the American Institute of Certified Planners.
He most recently was the Planning Director for Weber County for the past six years. He also worked in Medford, Oregon, Ogden City, Sandy City, and Davis County. His background includes working with all aspects of planning including general plan development, current planning, historic preservation, neighborhood development, and administration. While at Weber County his commitment to collaboration was realized with the development of the countywide Pathways Master Plan and the Moderate Income Housing Assessment and Plan.

Rob is married and has four children and three grandchildren. He is an avid outdoorsman.
