 The North Ogden City Council Approved a Contract with Lundahl Building Systems to Build the Public Works Facility

The North Ogden City Council approved and Mayor Taylor signed a contract with Lundahl Building Systems to build a $2,951,847 public works facility consisting of an Administrative Building, a shop, a covered storage building and fueling station.  Funding for this facility will come from the City's existing reserves and will not require debt.

The City Council also set the ground breaking ceremony for June 3rd at 5:30 p.m..  All are invited to attend.


 In other business, Mayor Taylor and the City Council honored Representative Justin Fawson for his service on the City Council.  Justin was elected to the City Council in 2011 and began his service in January 2012.

He was recently appointed as the House Representative for District Seven replacing Representative Ryan Wilcox.

During Justin's tenure, he was instrumental developing North Ogden's economic development plan, hiring Better Cities as the City's economic development consultant, bringing the Public Works Facility to fruition and implementing long-term capital project plans and future financing.
